Phoebe Woods
Independent speech &
language therapist

Phoebe Woods is an independent Speech and Language Therapist based in the West Country. She has over 30 years of experience and works locally with children and young adults who have communication and special educational needs, as well as nationally as an expert witness for SEND Tribunal and Litigation cases.
Phoebe works in a Specialist school for students aged 8-19 years old. Many of the students have complex needs, including autism, ADHD, acquired brain injury, dyslexia, developmental language disorder, learning difficulties, and complex social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
The school’s approach to education and the well-being of its students is embedded within a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming practice.
Phoebe works closely with educational psychologists, occupational therapists, and the wider teaching staff to provide person-centred support to the students and therapy programmes based on current evidence-based practice. Phoebe runs training programmes within schools and other organisations.
